The Zacchaeus Foundation is a non-profit organization named for Zacchaeus, who returned what he had stolen. The foundation works for racial healing and reparations in Northwest Arkansas by returning truth, wealth, and power. They repair truth by educating white people and churches about reparations, wealth by investing in Black-led non-profits, and power by following the leadership of Black people in deciding who receives funds.

At 7hills, people are at the center of all they do. 7 Hills recognizes that each person’s situation is unique and works to support every person on their path toward stability. They provide a wide range of basic needs and housing services and collaborate with partner organizations to ensure a holistic approach to decreasing homelessness in our community. There are several ways you can get involved to help support people experiencing homelessness in Northwest Arkansas.

Circles NWA is a community-driven program that works to increase upward mobility for individuals and families in poverty in Northwest Arkansas. Based on the national Circles®USA model, the Circles program builds intentional relationships (social capital) across socioeconomic lines that help open up long-term pathways for economic mobility and self-sufficiency. There are a variety of ways to participate in this amazing program.

Boston Mountain Youth Ranch is a gospel-centered mentoring program for children who are struggling. They pair a child with a horse and a mentor and provide a safe environment for learning about true relationships with God and others. If you are interested in partnering with them as a volunteer, donor, in their community support program, or assisting them in fundraising efforts, check out their website to find out ways you can help them further their mission.

Canopy is an organization focused on creating a community where refugees are welcomed and equipped with all they need to build new lives. There are a variety of ways your skills, passions, and availability can fit in at Canopy. Check out all the different volunteer opportunities — whether you want to help move in a family, donate furniture and home goods, or jump all in to co-sponsor a new family.

Olivia’s Basket helps build beautiful homes for families in desperate and often critical need. By partnering with a variety of organizations around the country and with the help of generous gifts and hundreds of volunteers from around the world, they continue to provide houses for families in crisis.
