Our Teams
Leadership at Vine & Branch Church is collaborative and shared among the church members.
Shared leadership requires a greater exercise of humble servanthood, but we believe this model reinforces our belief that everyone deserves a voice. We allow and encourage women to serve at all levels of leadership and make it a priority to have clear and adequate representation of women in leadership positions. We also do not place any restrictions on people who identify as LGBTQIA in any level of leadership and value their participation. While some members will at times have more decision making power, we create checks and balances to hold those in leadership positions accountable to the congregation through the policies and bylaws.
There are two primary areas of leadership at Vine & Branch Church that are coordinated by teams in order to carry out ministry: the Leadership Council and Service Teams.
Leadership Council
The Leadership Council is a rotating group of church members whose primary role is to serve the church through discerning and developing strategies that help the church pursue its purpose — specifically as it relates to logistical decisions. The Leadership Council members serve for three year terms before rotating off. Each member focuses on a certain aspect of our church life. If you have any questions, feedback, or ideas about our life as a church, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of our Leadership Council. Your voice matters deeply to us.

Teaching Team
Instead of a senior pastor, we have a group of teachers who take turns leading us on Sunday mornings. Each week, they pray, study and prepare together with teams that weigh in on the message, music and logistics of every worship service.
