Introduction
“Well THAT was interesting!” Have you ever watched a really intense interaction between people and walked away thinking that? Maybe not exactly sure how to feel about what you just experienced? Glad you weren’t a part, but also happy you get to learn from what others’ experiences? That’s kind of the way I feel as we wrap up our encounter with Paul’s letters to the Corinthian Church. We’ve seen something very real, very intense, very relatable, but also something we’re glad not have been directly involved with.
Except now we’re also responsible for this new knowledge, the knowing that comes from our encounter, however vicarious. And what is it, exactly, that we’ve learned? Well, that’s what we’re digging into this week.
Grace and peace y’all

Text:
Lord’s Prayer
Christ, who taught us to pray saying:
Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who’ve sinned against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory forever. Amen.
