Introduction
Recently I was reminded of the instagram account Preachersnsneakers. Went to see if it was still going and yeah, there is was, providing photographic proof of certain church leaders wearing shoes (and hoodies and watches, etc….) worth more than some of the cars we drive. For us, picking on prosperity preachers seems like pretty low hanging fruit. Vine and Branch seems pretty well insulated from that time of gospel perversion (and y’all, that stuff is straight up perverse). But that doesn’t mean we can let our guard down and assume we’re immune to manipulation or being led down the wrong path. Paul has some warnings for us in our text this week.

Lord’s Prayer
Christ, who taught us to pray saying:
Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name,
