Introduction
I just love a good rule. I love thinking about best practices. I am energized by planning and then improving said plan upon evaluation. I can’t think of a lot of things that feel better than realizing that a carefully laid plan worked flawlessly with the outcomes I intended. So, imagine my general dismay when I read letters from Paul that basically say you can’t best-practice your way into heaven. Hmph. Maybe you don’t relate to my unhinged desire to plan and do things “by the book,” but I bet you can relate to some feelings of resistance and discomfort when we start talking about not earning grace, giving up control, and a call to break our habits. So, come to Jennifer & Justin’s house for some *super fun* discussion of rules, plans, and discomfort, and stay for the refreshing talk about what freedom from these things can truly look like.

SUNDAY SERVICE CHANGE:
Due to the burn ban at Lake Leatherwood and the frosty temps at night, we decided it best that camping be cancelled.
IN LIEU OF SUNDAY SERVICE AT CUMC OCTOBER 20TH, WE WILL HAVE IT AT 10:30AM at 4772 West Homespun Dr, Fayetteville, AR 72704 for a Potluck Brunch.
